I keep getting cramp in my legs! Ive done a hell of a lot more exercise over the past 2 months than I've ever done... And i keep waking up in the middle of the night with awful cramp! Its sooo painful and feels like I'm being electrocuted! I get that I'm toning the muscles up but why does it hurt so damn much?! Any insight would be helpful!

Cramps can be due to a lack of salt or too much salt

I do the 'good toes, bad toes' thing that I was taught in ballet when i was about 5 xD takes a while but does relieve it eventually. If I didn't have to crawl down the stairs to find an uncarpeted floor then I'd give it a go! Thank you, though

I've been unable to keep food down for a couple of weeks now (yes I'm gonna go see the doctor!) So what can I do in the meantime?

Try electrolytes, hydration is very important with exercise.

Wrap a towel really tightly around your leg and tuck it in, the heat will get rid of the cramp, or put it between someones legs. Sounds weird but works !

"Dioralyte sachets to help replace electrolytes."

They taste like shit though lol

If you can't keep food down they probably are a good option. Also tonic water as the quinine in it helps with cramps etc.

Don't worry, but it might be an idea to go and get checked by your doctor. He might be able to help you in the right direction with regards a dietician.

Try some coconut water. Its rich in potassium and keeps you hydrated. Most supermarkets sell it, its usually found in the fruit juice section. Google it for more info x

Doctor is the best option. Blood tests won't hurt and he will look at your vomiting problem too. You can get seriously ill if you starve your body of nutrients both mentally and physically
