I wasn't going to bother today, but everyone fancies a roast in our house. I've been and bought a joint of lamb, going to do roasties, roast parsnips, sweet potato, carrots, courgettes, runner beans , leeks & mushrooms in a white sauce.
Blackcurrant sorbet or banana and custard for dessert. (Making cupcakes too,but can't eat them myself - torture!)
What you all cooking today?

If by some miracle I manage to get what I want to do done today I'll treat myself to a decent takeaway.
If not, who knows. Probably fish, chips and peas. |

Don't bother with a roast as I live alone. But have spent the afternoon baking cookies.
Vanilla, peanut and chocolate coated.
Just waiting for the last batch to cool and then I'll have some with a brew. |
