I would say "effort in" helps rewards out... so for example (and I use this an an example) have a look at some of the profiles of the people that have replied to you in this thread..... then look at yours
then ask yourself the question "would you reply to your own profile?"
4 weeks doesn't really scream effort... it screams impatience and an expectation that you thought you would just have to look sideways at a woman and her knickers would just fall off...."
