It looks like a lot of the recent "if we could use all of our brain" films. It's got Morgan Freeman so I will probably try and catch it but it doesn't look particularly special or new.

Yes, that struck me about it - its a film that sits midway between Limitless and Chronicle. |

i agree the plot looks a bit thin and the way the scenes have been shot it feels like we've seen it all before.

Transcendence was interesting. A good start, opening plot and great visuals - just a shame it went a bit mainstream and had a shit ending!!

I watched a good film last night. A young lady called Lucy had sex with 5 men in a car park. There wasn't much in the way of a story line though so I wouldn't say it was a great film. |

Thought it started well but then got a bit full of itself - limitless meet Matrix, without the plot development that made matrix 1 such a radical and thought provoking film. You never know it might prove me wrong in the future, but to my knowledge there is no current research coming close to telepathy etc. Problem is that the film is set in current day and cannot claim " future unknown advancements" for sci fi films e.g blade runner. |
