so had a load of old photos from my childhood given to me earlier. been a blast looking through them but some have stains on
could be food or drink by the looks of it
do any places provide cleaning services or can you clean them yourself without damaging? |

Hope it is just food or drink. I know that people on this site sometimes send pics to other people so that they can deliberately get stains on them....but not food or drink! |

as stated use adobe or another photo program a bit advice after scanning always make a copy of pic and use the copy to edit it therefore you always have a digital original
with adobe take your time consider what you can edit and change and also use the view function and back up to see what youve made better or worse
ive had to cut out people and also place them in other photos often and one person years ago had an old photo from 1940s or around there it had faded and was folded with bad lines managed to get a digital copy of it took it home with permision and returned it next day was worth seeing the delighted face from her and then got asked what id used to do it |
