I imagine that some of the reasons men pay for sex are:
Uncomplicated
Sex acts tailored to the mans preferences
indulgence - no need to focus on pleasing a woman
Time when it suits
Female chosen on looks entirely suited to the man

We've both paid independent escorts in the past and had enjoyable times - for both of us it didn't end in sex on one of the two seperate occassions. For us you have to have a spark even if you are paying someone, you have to respect the other party and paying only buys you time, not the right to be abusive in any way.

When I have gone without for a long time my sex drive has generally wound down. So I'd say guys having regular sex, with or without prostitutes, could perhaps be more wound up about it.
Also buying sex for money objectifies women... which must surely be a key factor behind all rapes?
Just my thoughts... but I'd be tempted to challenge the conventional wisdom on that one and suggest that, by going to a prostitute, a rapist might be born |

Id not entertain anything other than payment by results. Id not pay a builder to sit around and drink tea and be company for a building, he'd need to build and craft. Cant deliver the goods, get another job and offer a discount on repeat bookings- I dont think Id employ someone a second time if they had issues though. |

If prostitutes didnt exist i would say rape figures would jump up.Also women can charge what ever they like and i would say they could possibly make more money then a job can give them. |

I read somewhere it's not the sex a rapist is after it's the act of taking something with his total control... So prostitutes or escorts didn't give that full service I imagine.. so no I think it's wrong |

Could you tell me where the research that supports this claim is please? How many prostitutes were studied and what percentage does "the majority" actually equate to?
Or is this just a belief of yours which you can't back up with any reliable, factual data?
I strongly doubt the claim that "the majority" of prostitutes are homeless drug addicts.
If you include all sex workers, rather than just those who offer penetrative or oral sex, it's even less likely to be the case. |
