Its that time of year when spiders start to come indoors for winter. I had 2 big ones yesterday, though my fave daddy long legs spider - not the insect - has yet to return. He's nearby, but still enjoying the garden. I guess the big spiders can walk in more quickly than the tiny ones - so size can matter. |

I killed one of those huge hairy brown ones in my old house. It had really high ceilings with an old vent at the top n he came in there so I squished him with a broom n the next night two of the fuckers were in the same spot! I guess they came looking for they mate so I've never killed another one since just incase the others hear it scream n come running to help!! Lol x |

well i pick them up then i offer you them if you want them
but ive been a swine with spiders as ive picked them up and offered them they refused so chased my neighbours old enough daughters with them often enough that they run to bathroom and close the door fast with me in pursuit that if i mention spiders im told to f off and shut up about them if i dare mention them
done in fun though and yes ive had a person cowering and ive backed off and shown that ive got rid of it to them |

I've often wondered how spiders populate new housing estates.
I imagine them wandering up the road in large groups then spotting the new houses and whooping with joy at what we've built them

"You shouldn't kill spiders

We don't in our house, I usually end up naming them and leaving them to it wherever they are. For some reason I usually call them George - reading that back, ive just realised that sounds slightly mad! |

Not in the slightest. I have a Boris that lives (probably) under my sofa. He's so big that even my dog moves out of his way!
There's also a Tony who lives somewhere under the TV. |
