Titz Towers, North Notts

Has anyone else heard about the biker from Cheshire who used a helmet cam (ooer missus) to record him tear arsing about the Cat and Fiddle? It showed him having a near miss with a car before going through a fence and rolling down a hill.

He uploaded this onto youtube and it was exhibit 'A' when he was summonsed to appear before the magistrates. He was found guilty of dangerous driving (awaiting sentencing) and is now facing being sued by the farmer for the cost of repairing the fence.

It must make life easier for the rozzers when people film themselves committing crimes and then broadcast it online.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Or the young thief who arrogantly posted a report that the police were looking for him on his own Facebook page. The police used it to find and arrest him.

It makes it very easy. Other examples are updating your FB from a house you are burglarising, on their computer, leaving the computer.... And remaining logged in. Or posting selfies from there. Our with what you've stolen.

Two real geniuses in the US got busted for an advert on cl, once. Can I post what they did since they were caught and sentenced?

I'm not sure. However, I did hear about one bank robber in the states, who not wishing to raise the alarm robbed a bank with written instructions for the teller to fill a bag with money as he had a gun in his pocket.

He came a cropper when the cashier realised that the paper with instructions was an envelope addressed to the villain himself....
