I'm not *that* into football however am watching the England matches.
Missed the beginning of this one though as I was still shopping in town... which was blissfully quiet! |

No interest here either.
My special friend is at a barbeque and watching the match.
Is taking pleasure in texting me to what's going on: not the kind of ball play I prefer on a balmy Sunday afternoon! |

Well both Ian and my son gave up watching after the third goal.
All Ian said at least we can save the money on the electric.

never bothered with football, waste of 90 minutes and the pay is unrealistic to what they actually do on the pitch, specially when they play for their country, prefer to watch UFC or Tennis |

Their wages they get from their clubs has nothing to do with the National team, I understand the players wage pool is going to charity.
The Argentinian, Spanish and Dutch players earn just as much as the England players and that has no bearing on their performance.
They never looked happy from the moment they set foot in South Africa, maybe the strict regime of their Italian manager and his refusal to consult the players on playing positions had more of a bearing than we realise?
I am sure once the manager has gone the truth will out...... |
