I feel the urge sometimes to correct people's grammar or spelling. I have to resist as I know it is rude. But.
I am not totally without fault as I did not realise for a long time that I need to be discreet rather than discrete. |

"Don't hold back. It's not rude, it's helpful. You go ahead and correct them as much as you like. They'll be so thankful - you'll be reaping the rewards in no time at all."

We all make typos but when you can hardly make out a profile because it's written in text speak or phonetically then it's a big no-no for me.
Total snob I know. Lol |

It seems that I must contend with bad grammar and those without a sense of humour. |

At least forum regulars will appreciate your help. You may even get complimentary fab platinum plus membership for the rest of the decade if you also add an observation upon their veris grammar, spelling and content too. |

Id suggest the cane too, and maybe a period in the fab stocks, pants down, where anything - cane or otherwise - can be used on them. If their influence spreads to other users then they'd appear in the stocks at all fab get togethers. Users should largely hold back from correcting others as it's bad form and 2 wrongs dont make a right. |

As long as I can understand it, then fine. This is not an English class on here. There are people from all walks of life on here. Some have had good childhoods and others lucked out. Sometimes things are incorrect. Who bloody cares. |

I know how he feels though. I (m) struggled with English language in school because of mild dyslexia. Spelling became a big issue for me and I struggled to learn how to do it correctly.
I now find many people genuinely do not know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're". They persistently put "of" instead of "have" when they say "should of known". It is not lazyness or text speak. They really do not know which is a sad indictment on education today. |
