i bought an iphone c month old on contract like a twat i dropped in jd n manged to get it sorted for water damage but my touch screen not working can i still get it fixed  or would.it be cheapier to buy a new one phone and if so what one any answers would.help.thank u |

When did it get soaked?
Normal technique to dry out a phone totally is to stick it in a tupperware container full of uncooked rice and leave it in the airing cupboard for 7 days or so.
Sometimes you'll get lucky and it'll be fine once fully dried out. |

i did that soon as it happend internt said 48 hours i got nuthink n they did say water i dropped it in all i wanna no.if they can fix it its on n charging working but the touch screen wont work plus u can still see water in the screen there is lines xx plus.how much its gonna cost if they can fix it or get a new phone  |

Google free repairs by Apple. A few people I know have had the phone repaired and not charged. One was even dropped down a porta loo.
The support team at Apple a very good . I and a problem with an iPad and they had me phoned back in about thirty seconds. |

see everyone says that but when i.went in there they treated me.like shit.lol i new it was mi fauilt.but.no help wats so ever but 230 bill.wich the phone only cost 450 so point less maybe it mi face!!! |

Coke is definitely worse unfortunately as it's sticky, and mildly corrosive.
Like the chap above said, a replacement screen/digitizer kit might fix it. Little independent phone shops might offer the service too. That would definitely be cheaper than a new phone.
If the Coke has fucked any of the ICs on the board...then it's possibly a goner. |

was it diet or regular ? facebook iphone repairs, most shops do things the proper way which can cost loads of money, round here in liverpool there's loads of people that fix iphones mobile or from home charge you £30 ish and do much better jobs ! |

Yea £30 for a new screen but speaking from experience they are fiddly to fit but there are good step by step guides on YouTube. Timpson the key cutting place do replacement screens and fit them for about £40. Other key cutters are available  |

if the worst comes to the worst.... if it needs replacing, you can do a remote wipe on it as long as you had the "find my iphone" app on your phone........ so that will solve that issue |
