No wonder they keep the door locked
Lazy sods!
I do have a very funny image in my head of captain waking up from a nap and finding his co pilot fast asleep and dribbling |

"I fall asleep on the job too. Pull my nightie down when you're done. "
Do I have to do everything?
I spose I will have to wipe my dick on the curtains to clean it was well |

Did you read the other day about the one armed pilot whose false arm fell off while coming in to land. It was the one he was using to control the throttle... and no, this aint a wind up! |

I'm a controller. Auto pilot doesn't "do everything" as a lot of people seem to incorrectly think. Pilots still need to respond to commands from us and (when flying in the UK anyway) they get a lot!
Can understand on flights over the ocean, but over land there is too much traffic in the air for it to be a one button job. |

I suspect, of the 56% that admitted to falling asleep......in the vast majority of cases, it would be the old eyes shut and straight back up again. I can't imagine it meant snoring and dribbling stage, it takes so long to get to that state of unconsciousness.
Also, a friend of the family is a Captain for Cathay Pacific and his aircraft has a system that has to be answered every hour to ensure alertness or it sets an alarm off in the cockpit. |
