Do you ever go shopping and see something you like only to think in the next moment 'am I too old for that?'

My shoe broke this morning and of the ten pairs under my desk, nothing was suitable so I went out to buy a pair of fit flops at lunchtime. I got those but I also bought a pair of stripy trainers and I totally love them.

I don't give a rats arse if they're aimed at teenagers!

Well Imelda , I did have a similar quandary ...... I'd got me two pies and a bag o tatties for lunch and while pondering a pudding I felt drawn towards a kinder egg ... After a lengthy battle of conscience I plucked it from its shelf and despite dubious glance from wummin at counter I was chuffed with my childish choice ......

Oh and inside was a wee plastic plane with wings to clip on ..... Bonus !

Never. If I think it will suit me and the style I want, I buy it. I don't a flying fuck what others may think to be frank.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

No. My mum, throughout my life, has declared she's too old for this, that and heck knows what.

I'm not too old for anything. If I like it, I like it. Everyone else and their opinions can take a running jump

I've worn a onesie to swinging clubs twice now.

If I gave a rats arse it must be a friggin minuscule rat!

Kinder eggs are ace! I'm not that keen on the chocolate but I like the toys... not if there's nothing to build though. I feel cheated when you get some stupid ready made thing... give me something I need to build and if there are stickers to put on it then that's even better!!

I really hope the onesie was a fancy dress thing rather than some weird fetish!

I've often wondered that... I look at them, have that momentary thought of 'fucking hell those would look ridiculous on me' and then wonder who the hell would think that's a good look?

Then you step outside and low and behold, someone out there did!

Not for one night - a reindeer at Xmas. For the other? A lion at the circus social. And yes. Friggin roasting.

I had to take it off eventually!
