Just going through my iTunes playlist updating my cycling folder and past a fair few soundtracks (didn't realise I had so many), anyway, Rocky IV, The Lost Boys and Beverley Hills Cop are at the top of my list, there are others but these have some classic tunes on them. whats your favourite movie soundtrack? |

The good the bad and the ugly. Almost every track on that album is a belter. There is footage on youtube of an opera singer doing some great warbling to the ecstasy of the gold. I wouldn't even know where to begin without words. I mean, how do you write something that sounds like, 'ahha, ah, ha, ah aaaaaaaah.'? |

Massimino Amachi's Battle Royale 1 & 2 soundtracks are fuckin awesome classical styles.
Michael Kamen and Queen for Highlander
Tangerine Dream's Near Dark theme.
Goblin's Dawn of the Dead soundtrack.
The Warriors.
James Horner's 48 Hours and Another 48 Hours.
Anything Ry Cooder did for Walter Hill, like Sanctuary from Last Man Standing. |

I have two the first is the theme from "The mission" with Robert DeNiro as a soldier turned priest.
Secound more recent the theme from the last Bourne series with Rachel Weise and that's called "Extreme ways" by Moby.
One calms me down post exercise the other gets me motivated pr exercise. |

I totally forgot Vince DiCola's sountrack to Transformers: The Movie. That's the animated 80s one, not Michael Bay. Fucking astonishing use of synths and nobody has ever rivalled him despite the fact he was only otherwise known for the Rocky 4 soundtrack. Not surprised really. Nobody gets paid their weight in skill so he probably got ripped off for the sheer effort. |
