IMAX is one of my favourite places to watch movies (Along with the BFI). Really makes film-going feel special again. First film I saw there was The Dark Knight, the first shot of the film where you see the skyscrapers, the whole audience just went 'wow' because of the scale of the thing.
Really best to go when a film is specifically shot in IMAX, that's when the entire film fills up.
I only go once or twice a year so it still feels like an event when I go there. Hoping to get tickets for Interstellar in November and The Hobbit in December |
