Beenasked quite a few times, I either say no to them and tell the shop keeper the kids outside are asking people to buy them beer. I know that means nothing to the shop keeper as most are not bothered. |

I have been asked a few times but not for a few years. Used to be more in the evenings if I was off out down town, now I don't venture out after 5pm more than twice a year lol.
The most annoying one used to be 'do you have a spare fag' SPARE??? No I'm fully intending on smoking all of them thanks very much. |

Frequently here. I ask them why they cant and they say they are too young. So then I tell them if thats the case they shouldnt be smoking or drinking.
Id hope if my kids asked somebody they would be told to sod off. |

While on holiday a few weeks ago I was having a crafty fag on Brighton Pier, ahem I have stopped again. Anyway this Italian kid came up to me and asked if I could give her a fag. Eh how old are you I said, 15 was the reply, what the?? Anyway gave her a good ticking off and sent her on her merry way. Bloody school trip teachers no where to be seen.. Tut tut  |

I was once asked by two underage boys to buy them 10 Richmond, so I took the money and went in the shop.
They looked really disappointed when I handed them the sausages and told them they only come in packs of eight!  |

I think places need to use common sense on age - I hate getting refused service cos I have on ID, reason is Im not baby faced age anymore, so Im not carrying special cards or official id as its something that could get lost. Some staff get really serious about it, its madness. Im gonna have to paint wrinkes aplenty on me, or just go out in a 1940s twin set and sensible shoes. As for kids hustling you, Im fair with them but wont ever help. . |

Yes, I tell them no, there is a massive fine if you're caught.
Interestingly I used to try that trick when I was younger and often got a bottle of cider, much more relaxed in those days. |
