I'm a big fan of FF stockings.
I would love to see more ladies out there wearing them.
I have seen some really nice ones in clubs.
They get me going every time.
I'm guessing they must be expensive too.
Any other FF fans out there? |

There are seamed stockings and fully fashioned stockings. Seamed stockings are made from modern material with the seam and heel sewn on after the stocking has been made. Fully fashioned stockings are 100% nylon and the seam and heel are what actually closes the stocking into a leg shape.
Please don't get confused with normal seams...If your unsure buy a pair they cost at least £15 and believe me, once you wear fully fashioned you wont go back...the feel and look are amazing.

The seam on fully fashioned stockings is an integral part of the stocking and not sewn on afterwards.[1] Fully fashioned stockings are becoming increasingly rare; only a handful of manufacturers worldwide now make them regularly.[1][2]
Fully fashioned stockings are sized to the height and shoe size (generally) of the wearer and as such have little or no stretch in them as they have no lycra (spandex) contained within the yarn.[3]
In addition to the distinctive seam they also come in a number of heel designs and the top of the seam where it meets the welt at the top of the stocking is completed by the welt being turned over and a finishing loop applied. The loop is needed to allow the needle sewing the seam to be withdrawn.

Thankyou Rachel for that very usefull information.
All that's left is for me is to get my hands on a pair of FF stocking clad legs. Only to feel if there is a significant difference of cause.
So if anyone could loan me a leg I would appreciate it. |
