I'm off to Norfolk tomorrow with friends and can't wait. It's been a year since I was at the coast.
Where does everyone else like going?
Ps, please don't post anything interesting tomorrow, as I'll be off line. |

"Although we live by the sea, my favourite place to go is the rugged welsh coasts! Don't go much on our sea sides here in south Kent " . can't beat the Welsh coast, I had a static caravan on the north west Wales coast, absolutely loved it |

Nothing worse than the bloody beach... all that stinky sand blowing in your face, can't walk on it without twisting your ankle and almost breaking your neck, and the bloody racket of waves over and over again... same old wave noise getting on your nerves... then there's all that little gritty sandy bits covered in dog piss and polluted petrol water from all the boats which gets stuck between your toes, down your socks, in your wellingtons, up your crotch and arse crack making you all blistered and bloody... let alone all that fucking sun without any shadows so you pass out and can't see a thing on your ipad. No wifi... no power outlets... just a fucking big noisy blue thing with fish in getting a thin piece of land wet over and over again.
Lol just kidding Thought I'd make up for the fact that we live minutes from the beach by making it sound crap |

"Omg Banana, there is a local memorial from 1912 of about 10- 14 kids that drowned there whilst in the scouts. "
I spent a lot of time there when I was a child. We were told to stay away from the cliff end of the beach because you get cut off by the tide and the sea bed was mud that sucked you down. We did a lot of stupid things at Leysdown |

I couldn't live away from the coast (tried living inland once - just didn't do it for me)
We live by the Solent and I love this stretch of sea more than anywhere else. There's always something to see from hovercraft, naval ships, cruise liners and freighters right down to yachts, kitesurfers and canoes. |
