What stunningly unfortunate names have you come across recently.

Having just watched the ITN news bulletin I'm guessing that Kylie Pentelow may have got a lot of ribbing at school.

I came across a guy whose parents must have been mad to name him what they named him.

His name was Goru Miah. Now. In my mother tongue goru means cow. So, basically his parents called him a cow.

"Went to school with a girl called Teresa Green."

I had one of those too, she went and married dave brown, so it still didn't get better.

Funny names are great, hubby has a very infamous name, that can be a right pain at times .

We met a guy once who should change his name to Drew Peacock (would have been perfect for him!)

I actually knew a guy named Rocky - his parents loved the movies, but never realised with the surname Sole, all his credit cards etc would have the name "Mr R Sole" stamped on them!!!

Poor bugger...

There is also a german ski jumper called Andreas Wank, google it if you don't believe me, and there was a German footballer in euro 96 with the surname Kuntz. John Motson commented on a game and he said....."Kuntz is on the ball", i think the clip is on youtube of it.

Was watching the Wolfman on film 4 the other night and in the credits at the end saw a Richard Woodcock. Then straight after a british horror film from the 70's came on called blood on satans claw, and in the opening credits the name "Dick Bush" flashed up on the screen.
