I always end up peeling off a layer of skin too!! Just discovered beet in shower cream I was sceptical thinking no it will be crap but I'm quite impressed. Used it one day and the next day just went over with a razor for any bits I missed - pretty impressed. |

"Think gonna stop trying and just veet lol "
Veets come along well in recent years. Waxing is great at a salon but not so great yourself in my opinion.
My mum bought me a epilator- think she must hate me!! |

I used them once and never again...it took ages for the bruising to fade. It's impossible to get your skin taut enough by yourself to not bruise yourself...not worth the pain-or the contortions...
i'm going to try a salon that's been recommended by a friend |

When I first waxed my bikini line years ago I stuck a strip each side, pulled the first one off and thought fuck this for a laugh!
Then thought how the hell am I going to get the other one off without crying? I almost waited for my OH to get home so he could do it for me
Poor technique which I have since mastered meant I went away to Cyprus bruised and looking like id been kicked in the fanny for the first week |

"I bought an epilator once... I used it on a square inch of my leg and put it in the bin!
I can deal with pain... pretty well in fact... but I can't inflict it on myself. "
I got one recently and love it,I had one years ago though and it was like an instrument of medieval torture, they have improved |

"Bruised myself "
You need a good friend to rip the strips off if you're doing bikini line or underarm. Legs are easy enough but between pulling really quickly at the right angle and holding the skin taut you need either an extra hand or one arm six inches longer! |

Well I was happy with veet... Had a bit of stubble growing and were clubbing tonight so slavered it on... I've burnt my fairy!!! So I thought it would be clever to try the soap and glory on it to clear off the rest of the cream omg it must have menthol in it... Felt like my fairy was on fire!!
Paul came into the bathroom thinking I was moaning with pleasure and had me screaming at him to get the shower head on me!!
Apologise to anyone I meet this weekend please excuse my poor fairy!! |

"What is this magic powder you speak of? "
There are many threads you can read on this subject. I trusted and beleived what people said - my advice is that if you cannot shave because of ingrowing hair problems, stay away from the stuff!
Its not magic and it does not work for everybody. I bought some 6 months ago, tried it and will never use it ever again. |

I'm not sensitive to ingrowing hairs... I'm just lazy. I can't be arsed shaving so unless someone is likely to see it I leave it to do its own thing.
I'm all for magic shit though! |
