What's more annoying at the moment? Horny Tawny owls throughout the night, or the endless winge of the adulesant buzzards trying to get an easy meal from the parent birds?!

Country life eh? It ain't easy you know...

We had a baby fox crying all night for weeks recently.

Not great when sleeping with the windows open!

I know where you're coming from, but I chose to live in their "office space" so I have no right to be annoyed while they're trying to make a living.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

The owls have been quiet round here lately. The bloody wood pigeons never shut up though!

Nah - we've heard that. (Fox is a proper country farm girl!) This we suspect was an abandoned cub. We searched for it and notified the local wildlife sanctuary but it couldn't be found.

Stopped all of a sudden so hopefully it survived and moved on.

We prefer to think that way rather than the 'got eaten/starved/run over' alternatives - even though we know the odds.

A bit like when one of the cats vanished 6 weeks ago.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

Seagulls at 5am are doing my head in.

And they poop all over my lovely new car, the filthy gits.

Central

I don't like to hear or see Magpies, and they are a noisy lot. Not sure which owls are noisest, as we have Barn and others around here, so nights aren't peaceful, but thank goodness they are here!!
