Omg, I have seen two mice today in the house. What is the best way of getting rid of the buggers?

I actually dreamt of this last night including finding a neighbour swanning about in my garage.

Bizarre.

Get one of those humane tilting traps that you can release them from later, I don't like animals getting hurt.

A trap unfortunately, but try Parmesan cheese, they're rather partial to it!!

Get some traps that don't kill the mice but you need to release them miles away or they'll just come back to you - the heavy rain recently may have driven them into your home - Z

"Has anyone used the sonic deterrents and do they work? "

I've used the old-school 'snap' traps and they work.

"humane traps?"

Ah, you townfolk.

Actually I don't know why I bother with humane traps when they get eviscerated by my cats as soon as they're released anyway

I'm pretty laissez faire about mice since I lived in a flat with a rat that even the pest control guys said was one of the biggest they'd ever seen

Pest control for 15 years , fact : if you catch mice and take them miles away , by the time you get home the mouse will be dead , mice are territorial, fact 2 , the most humane way is break back traps baited with chocolate or , believe it or not , soap , hope this helps

Our dog ( jackadoodle ) he's relentless when he spots one outside , keeps on pouncing and his hearing is crazy good.. Not actually got one yet but a good deterrent
