"I would get rid of my lupus. If it turns out to make things worse then so be it. If it works then my body can be pain free and hopefully I will fall down less. " Do you also suffer with your nails too?
"Acne... I've tried everything else so why not?.... " big polar couldn't make it any worse
"I would get rid of my lupus. If it turns out to make things worse then so be it. If it works then my body can be pain free and hopefully I will fall down less. Do you also suffer with your nails too?" No. I am lucky my lupus has been mostly in remission for many years but I still get the odd flare and the Meniere's is a result of the lupus. I'm down to regular blood tests and the odd lung x-ray now.
"Acne... I've tried everything else so why not?.... big polar couldn't make it any worse" Are you suggesting I start wrestling arctic bears to try and cure it?!

"APS. (a blood clotting disorder) So common but so little known by the general public. Affects 1:5 and mimics so many diseases. V v easily treated once diagnosed. " I was diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome 20 years ago. It was the reason I miscarried so many times. I sometimes get sticky blood but it's not consistent in me so thinning can be hit and miss.

"Omg Lickety, I didn't realise you had it to. My pregnancies triggered my APS too but luckily my babies where ok. Was in hospital for ages pre and post birth and nearly died with clots 3 days post discharge. Have to take warfarin now. What meds are you on? You under B. Hunt too? " I decided to go drug free years ago. For this and the lupus. When I am sticky I take heparin but I just get tested regularly and deal with it as it presents. I now tell every woman I know who has had three miscarriages to get the test.

"Taking a daily dose of aspirin combined with something like Adcal could be beneficial..." I take a combined calcium and Vit D chewy and add aspirin if I feel sluggish. If the tests come back showing I'm sticky I take the heparin, as that makes sense. Only one little TIA 13 years ago and I am rarely off ill.
