turn my pc on and this comes up
anyone know how to combat it? message me "
its a virus! you've downloaded and it has embedded itself in your OS. I got it before Xmas and had to do a rebuild to remove it (it was in the pic you downloaded).
You may have more luck than me trying to get rid of it but afterwords I advise you add imageshack tho your blocked sites list in your internet settings. |

Try this, switch on puter but hold down the F7 key, this should start the puter in safe mode. Of the options available take the safe mode only.
If puter starts then proceed like this.. turn off system restore, because if its a virus it has written itself to your restore files anyway.
Next run your antivirus to remove the blighter. Switch off and repeat the safe mode and antivirus to be sure it has got everything. If it still will not start normally after that, then you have a serious problem whose removal cannot easily be explained here |

we had this problem before and we combatted it by turning of the computer lap top completley keeping the on of button pressed in till it is no more. umplugging everything ie router plugs leaving it a couple of minutes and start your computer back up again. it worked for us and delete the picture that you have downloaded. good luck hope this works. |

If you had a recovery cd that came with the pc insert it before you turn it on, then try turning it on. It should have some start up files to get the pc going enough for you to figure out what's wrong with it.
If you don't have a recovery disk find a friend or family member running the same O/S as your pc and make one from their pc. |
