Do you think you'll feed the habit again?

Someone came back to WoW after a 6 year break (in our guild)

Here's the Warlords trailer to tempt you http://youtu.be/TLzhlsEFcVQ

I haven't played for years and although I've really felt the need at times I will never touch it again. RIP WoW, probably the best game ever made.

Not played it in 3 years now, would go back to it if I got the chance.

A few things that pissed me off with the game was doing the same quests, in the same area each time I leveled my characters. Also the elitism got me as well, gone were the days of doing a raid/ dungeon/ pvp battle with what you had.

Gearscore killed that! Skill was no longer on option over slightly better gear.

Reconfiguring all my addons was one of the main reasons I never went back even when I had the chance. Glad I didn't know though.

Gear score died a while ago, Item level took over. It's much better to get raids since they added the Looking for Raids feature, but you need a min ilevel to enter them.

Forgot to say, skill is kinda coming back. You will need to prove that you can play your class before you can queue for HCs.

Shows you how long I've been gone for... but I thought gearscore was calucated via your gears ilevel? It was a ridiculous idea anyway as people were just sticking on PvP gear to get into PUGs.

Haha!

I can't, I've had my fun - I'd much prefer to do things like make more money these days!

Well I've done my bit for society. I got married, brought up 3 kids, now started playing wow again.

I won't be raiding every night of the week, like I used to. Just 5 of them

I had 5 level 85, all on the horde. After doing a quest each time you levelled a new char to a certain level got boring, I would consider going back but the talents tree being simplified put me off.

Shy and I used to play on the US servers which meant playing at stupid o'clock in the morning for raiding. Having 2 PC's two accounts and spending hours on WoW. Eventually as you have all mentioned doing the same quests over and over re-tracing the same steps became boring, started playing again when the Pandas came out but they took the fun out of the game when everybody could walk about in purple gear that they never really earned just obtained because they turned up on raid day.

Lost interest in it to the point I don't think I would even watch the trailer for the new expansion.

RIP WoW...
