It happens to us all...someone blocks you.
I read a post, clicked on the author and I've been blocked. Never mailed them, spoken to them etc so I deduce that they didn't like something I wrote etc...move on...It is what it is.
Do you block people simply because you don't agree with their thoughts or simply shrug and move on ? Is blocking everyone you disagree with a little self indulgent and misguided or simply making your little Fab world a little more Fab ? |

I block anyone I don't want to speak to - it may be from something they have said in the forum, to a private message to something on their profile - all kinds of reasons.
Its a tool, just like the age filters to save me talking to people I don't want to spend time talking to, simple really. |

Not agreeing and finding something abusive, offensive or distasteful are different things.
Many forum users will decide to block based on posts - just as other do based on preferences, pictures, profile text or messages received.
It happens. Always will.

Even if they never message you or have contact ? Surely the forums are a place to debate differences and blocking people with them is unrealistic. ...The exception being abusive offensive types ? |

Blocking a profile doesn't stop me seeing what they write on the forum tho. Nope not unrealistic, even if they never have contact - why would I want to have any contact with someone disagreeable to me for whatever reason? It also stops them seeing my profile and pictures.
I block for all kinds of reasons - bareback, offensive, rude, the unkind judgement they make... |

"I once wrote something stupid and blocked myself in disgust...."
We all commit forum suicide at some point. ..now why do I feel the need to see if I can block myself ? |

Or more correctly " a little more little"? |

You seem to be saying that everyone should engage in a debate with you.
Would you like a mass debate?

No one on the forums annoys me enough for me to want to block them so I don't use it on here
My blocks are because people don't read, can't take no for an answer, creep me out or are generally stupid and think a swinging site means automatic sex |

I can honestly say, we have no-one blocked . I'm pretty easy going if someone annoys me, I just move on... I have pondered though on a couple of occasions. I have a feeling we are on a few. Bothered nope |
