I didn't even notice one of my hens was missing.......yesterday she walked out of the woods.....and trailing in a line behind her......11......that's right....ELEVEN!!! little babies
.
So that means she was AWOL for 3 weeks!!!!

She has done well to keep all her chicks safe. Congratulations to you Stu I am sure you will keep them safe now they are back.  |

had to do some emergency construction last night to create a bit of a run and attach it to a coop....keep the crows and the buzzards away.
Will probably end up with 10 roosters 
But, for now...they're all snuggly and warm and will spend the next week or so in happy seclusion, safe from predators (thank fuk Penny is not an outdoor cat yet!!!!)  |
