I've never been, but I'd like to. I think Wroclaw used to be Breslau before the borders shifted about a bit and is quite picturesque from what friends have told me. My boss used to do archery with a Polish chap from Pomerania who taught me a couple of words, hello/goodbye and thank you, which I thought wonderful. |

Breslau is German name for Wroclaw, and have been used before the WW2, when Wroclaw belonged to Germany |

Got back from Poland last Thursday,it's amazing and your zloty is impossible to spend. You can get a top class 3 course meal and drinks for about £ 12 per head.
The people are super friendly too.
