Im off to Poland tomorrow last minute thing just for a long weekend and just seeing if anyone has been before and what they have made of it.

Poland is an amazing country with a wealth of history and culture. The food is also fantastic make sure you try pierogi and golabki at the very least.

I've never been, but I'd like to. I think Wroclaw used to be Breslau before the borders shifted about a bit and is quite picturesque from what friends have told me. My boss used to do archery with a Polish chap from Pomerania who taught me a couple of words, hello/goodbye and thank you, which I thought wonderful.

Breslau is German name for Wroclaw, and have been used before the WW2, when Wroclaw belonged to Germany

Got back from Poland last Thursday,it's amazing and your zloty is impossible to spend. You can get a top class 3 course meal and drinks for about £ 12 per head.

The people are super friendly too.

You'll have a ball !
