When did you get your first double bed?

I was about 6, and i shared with my sister.
I have my son a double when he was 4 because he kept falling out of his single. He's very active when he sleeps as well as sleeping literally all over the bed. He needed it and he loves it and rests much better now. |

When I stole my brother's bedroom when he moved out. I think I was about 15.
When I moved out I took the bed with me. It's the best bed ever!
I still sleep in the same bed albeit with a new mattress.
I am a creature of habit.  |

my mum has jokingly said for me to get a double for my lil one so its a spare bed for when i have guests .. (as in i get turfed out of mine and into my child with her so my parents can have mine lol) |
