We have been chatting with a couple normally male to male but tonight the guy has crossed a line in my opinion searched and must of taken some time to find mrs on twitter and FB and tried friending her. Is it just us or is that just too wierd and social media is not where we want our swinging friends to be we have messaged blocked and moved on just has really annoyed mrs to the point where she is not sure she wants to play anymore |

For me it is sign for you that you are giving way to much information.
I think of Interest as a open space, and using Google is not a crime.
I once was very much surprised when one guy was able to find my full name and place I live just using Google and information I provided (and they were really basic information like job and some other general stuff)
I knew that he just did it for fun and to see if he would be able not to use it against me. I wasn't angry at him (again: using Google is not a crime) just detected that I am giving too much info.

I agree, too much information going out, or your privacy settings aren't locked down enough.
Make sure your phone number isn't connected to Facebook. And don't just check once, check regular because Facebook change their privacy settings without telling you.
Use a separate phone number for swinging, don't give out your regular number. And never tell anyone your surname. |

I keep Fab and vanilla social media totally separate. You must be giving too much information out somehow if he could find you that easily. Oh and yet another reason why I hate and will never use Face Ache!! |

we talk mostly on here - after all this is what the site is for - we have kik/email for those who cant/wont put pics up here but prefer here its not difficult to do and to have set to attach to message only - phone for the girls to chat to and a few select friends we text the odd message to -
one lady gave her facebook name so we could see her pics - and said to add her - we didnt - facebook is for friends and family for us |

"I think a BIG thing to avoid is using ANY pictures on here that are used on any Vanilla sites. All someone needs to do is run a "reverse image search" and BINGO there's your vanilla web presence."

Dont assume your fab info is private either. Any pics etc that you put up are out there for life- just as with anything on the internet. This is another reason to use a shag phone and no that is not readily traceable to you anyhow. Consider making your location a little looser and meeting in public places until more comfortable. Dont use matching photos on other sites as searches can find the correlations. And maybe use a fake no for facebook etc, so you dont get tracked and traced easily. |
