I would like to extend my deepest regrets to the BMW X5 driver who, after tailgating me for 2 miles this afternoon (no more than 6 inches off my tail), had to perform an emergency stop instead of overtaking me when I slammed my brakes on at exactly the same instant as signaling right - before ignoring the junction and carrying straight on.
