Yeh I know some put up some real snide remarks a bit like this "Some folks are just so far up their own arses that they forget how to be polite"! I would suggest getting the pliers out if what ever you sat on is irritating you and extract it. |

That's the point I know a lot get them at a rate of one every minute or two. I know a woman who spent 2 hrs replying just to see and she had more than she started with after 130 mins. Its pretty sad if people think you should spend hours a day declining in my book after all a read and deleted means the same thing, not interested.  |

It depends what you call snide remarks. For instance do you call mine snide ? Its a thread most that have been here a while see over an over. my own view is why look for things to worry about the forums are ment to be fun an that's what my post are ment to be. Lifes to short |

one weeks rubbish is another weeks gold....we are always polite and apart from men ( don't meet guys sorry check profile) think we do ok but many have there standards set too high ... |

We have recently switched our profile to looking for single guys. It clearly states on our profile we don't meet people in our county however a small minority ignore this and message anyway. Now if these people can't be bothered to read that bit then why should we reply???
We reply to those who have made a little bit of an effort. |

If someone reads our profile and messages us with a decent message not just 1 line, but isn't what we are looking for we will reply and sorry but your not for us, if it's a 1 line message then it's just delete and block, but then again we don't get anywhere near the amount of messages single women do so it's not really a problem for us |

I'll never understand why anyone gets so fixated on being turned down.
Given that a lot of companies now don't reply to unsuccessful job applicants, expecting, demanding or bemoaning a lack of formal written rejection on a swingers' site seems to be an absolute waste of time and effort.
People want to use their time and resources in the way they'll benefit them most.
You wouldn't message someone you're not interested in. Everyone else has the same right.
It's a no, thank you. Having it in writing doesn't change that. Get over it. |

I personally *try* and respond to all the messages I get, even if it's just to say thanks but no thanks.
But that's not a rule, just my own thoughts. You have to take into account the face that women and couples get tonnes more messages that I do and don't gave the time to wade through them all making small talk.
Especially as some people won't take no for an answer............ |

Messages from cock avatars are usually deleted unread.
My profile states this but I still get quite a few. They usually consist of fewer than 5 words.
Those men probably think I am terribly rude and up myself too. |

We have somethings wrote on our profile, some might see them as rules or us up our own arse, but what they are are guidelines to getting a reply, they are there to help people get a response not rules to stop people messaging if that makes sense? |

There must be several threads about this a week. We delete our sent messages as soon as they're sent. We care not what the recipient does to them, we'll either get a reply or we won't. Maybe fab should remove the facility to see what the status of the sent message is then hopefully people wouldn't worry or moan about it so much. |

Very well said. I enjoy using the forum but the general attitude has put me off starting my own threads and caused a few people to miss out on meeting us as they were an arse on the forum then tried to kiss my arse in a message probably not realising Im the person they got snotty with so the message just gets deleted.  |

Thank god for filters! But when they arent in place it's a nightmare. If someone reads my profile then yes they will get a reply even if its a thanks but no thanks. That is now followed by a block cos sick of the 'why not blah blah' Does that make me up my own arse - possibly cos nobody else is going up there |
