A woman found guilty of using sex chatrooms to arrange for strangers to rape a former work colleague was jailed for six years today.
Joanne Berry, 30, devised and executed the bizarre plot in a revenge attack on the victim who had angered her for an apparently frivolous reason.
Maidstone Crown Court heard how Berry posed on websites such as 'Cougar Shag' declaring she liked role play and wanted to create 'some sort of rape scenario'.
On one occasion she instructed a man, Dean Hicks, to knock at the unsuspecting victim's front door, to burst in and "rape" her.
He thought the woman shared his fantasy.
Berry didn't give Mr Hicks her own address, but that of her female work colleague, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
