I was talking about this with a friend and he said they can but I maintain its something that happens and someone can't make you do it. Which side of the fence do you sit on with this? |

Nah, i could be with two different girls who do exactly the same and one could be "coming on too strong" the other could be "perfect".
I think sub consciously we make a decision on who we want to fall for |

Yes, They can lead you on and deceive you into believing you could have a future together! Not a nice thing to do to anyone but it happens, unfortunately! |

I wish I could......as it is she will have to remain FWB.....and I will continue to have fun with others here....but I would be happy to settle for "the one" but she doesn't seem to be for it.
I even turned down another weekend away in her caravan just to see what effect it has on her/us. Not sure it was a good idea will just have to see! |

Some guys are really super seducers who know how to turn on the charm and seem to be able to make a lot of girls fall in love with them. My favourite dancing buddy is like that - he had me going for about 24 hrs the first time we went out, haha, then I woke up and smelled a rat!

That person can put all the right tools there to encourage you to fall in love with them. Say the right thing so the right thing be the model person that they want you to see or you want them to be.
I had exactly that experience. He seemed to good to be true and true was the furthest to what he was!!
But it's not always done with bad intention. Sometimes that person just wants to be with that person so badly they'll do what it takes |

No... True Love happens naturally and without coercion. However... Are some manipulating arse wipes out there( male and female) who are able to give a false impressions and play others like a 2nd hand fiddle! |

Life is astoundingly beautiful... it tries to woo and charm us at every moment... and yet many of us still fail to fall in love with it. So what chance has a mere human got? |

Dubious as an argument for - The Beast had a huge castle and lots of money. And quite possibly, a nice personality too. |

People have leverage, that is for certain. Some people are incredibly astute over what others need, and so can more easily manipulate and influence them and their perceptions. Ultimately it takes another to influence our opinion anyway, as we cant really say that we could fall in love with an unresponsive wooden dummy - though some may beg to differ. As such, we are being influence all the time, much of it outside of our conscious perceptions, and our rational and emotional selves are often at odds over which is in control. Love is an emotional aspect of ourselves, so more within our unconscious mind, albeit we can decide who we date and pursue. |

They can't make you but they sure can give you a helping hand. Either by-
A.) Being a sociopathic/psychopathic, manipulative actor who sees no other choice but to live a total lie and drag you in with them, or
B.) Being genuinely lovable and open to you |

No. However, if you want to then they can lead you there or if you dream of it you can lead yourself there. However, if you refuse there is no way anyone can make you. |
