"Wing mirror glass has become very loose recently after someone clipped it and drive off any suggestions? "
They can be a bitch to get off if its electric but sort soon as it might be more than the glass that drops off as you go down the road. |

If the glass is still intact, it may simply have come unclipped from the backing - try pressing gently but firmly around the central area of the glass (imagine a 2"/50mm circle and press in this area ONLY)
If the glass is cracked or broken, then you can get a replacement glass only that sticks to the current one using small double-sided sticky pads .... but NOT if your present mirrors are the heated type! |

Glass isn't cracked but something fell out of the back |

My guess is that part of the plastic at the back that secures the glass has broken.
At your own risk, you could try GENTLY prising the mirror off completely using a wide blade (using thick card to protect the painted mirror housing) to check and possibly repair it.
I can't see any easy way to stop the glass moving otherwise, and it's likely to fall out and smash while you're driving anyway! |
