Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Could someone do mine this morning, please? Just three days away but we're being threatened by a storm.

I'm at the stick everything in the car stage.

Cheeseville, Somerset

Last time I went to Egypt it was that friggin hot I wore nothing but sandals. Flat and easy to pack.

And as for clothes? Didn't wear much during the day as was waaaaay too hot (and spent much of the time snorkelling anyway!) but packed lightweight, thin stuff and actually used the hotel laundry once during the week. Less to pack, cheap to do one wash and dried on the balcony in minutes.

Top tip is wear the heavy stuff on the way out - saves packing - take a couple of carrier bags (empty) and change at the airport when you land into cooler clothes.

You only need little bitty clothes in Egypt... Flippyflops.. Sarongs, shorts n t-shirts, for the kids..a couple of light dresses maybe? For the evening.. Things wash and dry so quickly out there. And clothes are so cheap to buy over there too. I always! Pack to much... I fold up pretty small I won't take up much room honest. Have a ball!! X

Sandals - and shorts. (I don't do speedos and the mankini is restricted to club trips. )

My Man Utd shirt? I'd never wear that abroad! They'd assume I was a local!

You got any space to fit a little one with ickle hands and legs in the luggage?

...i promise i'd shut up.

"roll clothes instead of fold them "

Saves space and stops them creasing.

You can also get vac bags. You chuck the clothes in, squash the air out and the bag shrinks so you can get more stuff in your case.

Central

If you have clothes with tons of pockets, wear for boarding and then take off. Stuff any and all stuff into pockets, even a shoe or two. Take much less than you think you need as most stuff you could buy disposably abroad. Shrink wrap stuff too and dont have bag weight that is close to the max. I have packing but almost always do hand baggage only even if going for months. You can always parcel post stuff back home too, which is cheaper than going over your allowance. Hot destinations need little at all to wear, unless you are dressing for dinner in upmarket places, but you can recycle easily.
