I personally am not a smoker and never have been, regardless of that I take no issue meeting with them as long as they are willing to be respectful with it, as most are. As i have this view it really winds me up the amount of people that lie about it on this site, I do realise its a deal breaker for some; but still if you are expecting one thing of a person and they turn up and are the opposite, I cant help but feel a bit cheated. |

Its like anything on this site, people say they're single when they're not, say they're straight when they're bi etc etc. Unfortunately people sometimes pretend to be something they're not to please the masses. Personally I think its sad and a waste of time but hey ho, that's life on here! |

Not on this site, I was a smoker and gave up, changed that status, I was inundated with emails.... It is a huge deal clincher, which is why a lot of people omit this detail.
Also 'vaping' is that smoking or not. I say not as the whiff is not there  |

Its strange that people do lie about smoking as they should know that non-smokers can smell it a mile away. I met a guy from another site when I wasn't smoking and he swore he didn't but I could smell it, and then halfway through the meet he lit one up! But then he swore he was 6 foot tall and he was shorter than me 
I think some people struggle with the truth if lying means getting a shag. |

I got told once in reply to the fact I don't meet smokers that if he doesn't smoke the day of the meet he's a non smoker!! Like an alcoholic ceases to be one if he doesn't have a drink for the day?? |

I like to kiss so it is an issue for me. Any playmates I meet comply with my request to use mouthwash if they have smoked recently.
Its not something I go straight to on a profile but it would be a deal breaker if they chain smoked. |

I'm down as a non-smoker as I only smoke when I'm glammed up and even then it is only a couple in the course of a week. I can go months between having one. I look like I smoke more, because a lot of my pics are taken in the smoking area of pubs/clubs, where I can Shanghai someone into taking my photo  |

We are smokers and it is clearly stated on our profile. What pisses us off is getting messages from people who want to meet and when we look at their profile it says "wont meet smokers" WTF?
If they wont meet smokers then why message us? |

The thing that gets me is when youre woken by the fire brigade, when a meet has slept over, fallen asleep and burning started. You then have potential for a massive gang bang with the fire crew, so its not all bad news whilst helmets are in action. |

I smoke about 4/5 a day. Although am not a heavy smoker I do clearly state on my profile I smoke but do get my fair share of winks n msgs from those who have "wont meet smoker" on theirs. I point out very early into any convos that I smoke and they don't seem to care. So why have it then?
In similar vein, I don't msg and respect those who won't meet smokers as I don't know if its a deal breaker or not. Everyone is entitled to their own choices.

Vaping is also not smoking because the nicotine can't be passed on unless they inhale it directly from the e-cig. It's non "polluting" |

I tell the truth simply because it's the truth. If I don't get better offers than I do now because I smoke, I really don't care. I'm cutting down and trying to quit for me, not for a fuck's sake. |

I would always say I am a smoker! I have given up for a few months before, so I do know that to a non smoker (more likely an ex- smoker) I will stink to high heaven!
So on that alone, I am wary of meeting non smokers.. even if they state they will meet smokers. Cause I will be so conscious of me stinking, I will be a little uncomfortable of that.
I do smoke.. umm... lets just say, while listening to some Bob Marley too. The amount of times I have had guys ''non smokers'' saying 'oh me too.. can we meet?'

I believe when you set up your profile it automatically has a tick in the 'won't meet smokers' box and you have to change it. A lot of people I have spoken to said they simply did not notice it to change it and changed it once I pointed it out. Although they could be lying and just changing their preferences to get laid....  |

This is true,we dont meet smokers and its the smell that turns our stomach.
We agreed to meet numerous couples over the years who claimed to be no smoking the worst being in Glasgow where we subjected to sitting with the female for ages whilst the guy went to the bar and never returned for half hour at a time ,
he came back stinking of rollies and cheap chewing gum so we cut it short and left and saw them as nothing but deceitfull ignorant timewasters...our time! |
