Does anyone like writing eBay listings?

I have a large, growing stack of things I need to list on eBay.

I may have to bite the bullet and set aside a couple of days for writing eBay ads and taking the photos soon.

Some short cuts.

Find an item then same and hit sell one like this.

Scan bar codes on books , CDs and DVDs and eBay will fill in most of the info for you. X

Hope that helps. X

Have you considered Gumtree? I find it more useful for local buyers of stuff "to collect"

Or Freecycle to give away?

I write mine up in advance in a word doc (usually during work time natch). then you just copy and paste the text in and hope it doesn't have an ebay strop over something or other in the listings

I haven't but I'll look, thanks.

I still have to take photos and write ads though.

I actually enjoy the process - taking the photos, working on a perfectly worded description...

Don't enjoy the fees though - eBay, PayPal, postage.

Facebook's another good place for selling locally

Download turbolister. Write a standard text regarding your postage and returns policies and anything else you can repeat. Set up a template in turbolister, then all you have to change for each listing is the title, category, photo and condition.
