well the team might be in trouble but it not as bad as the french for certain!.
i myself think that goalkeepers rob green,david "calamity" james both had their chance but now big joe hart is the goalkeeping future!,let him have the chance in this what could be englands last game,he is a good young keeper who could have a very long life between the sticks,maybe for the next 2-3 world cups.
carragher will be missing having collected too many red cards so matthew
upsom i think will be partnering terry at the heart of defence as ledley king is still carrying injuries.
in midfield joe cole must have upset someone on englands coaching staff as the games so far have cried out for him but the poor bloke was not even a sub!,why?.
crouch and defoe upfront in place of lacklustre heskey and rooney,heskey not done much apart from his miss against the usa,rooney failed again at world cup level,could not control nor pass a ball against algeria,he would or could not run and looked as though he was carrying an injury,or his wallet?.
crouch & defoe scored plenty of goals for spurs this season and could surely do no worse and desrve to start this game as a partnership.
as for wright-phillips,whats he doing there in the first place?,he came on for lennon and just does what he normally does,he cannot pass a ball but just looks for defenders to run into in vain hopes of getting a free kick!,the team will be home on thursday!. |
