Ever had one of those days when you are so frustrated with the messages you receive you are screaming at the screen? Lol

Seriously I really think men think you will drop your knickers by just saying hi! They don't bother to read what I'm looking for, have no pics and no information on their profile! Get real guys and make an effort, no wonder a large percentage complain they can't get meets.

This is an eye opener, I had no idea this kind of thing went on around here.

We need better forum posts to prevent this kind of thing from reoccuring.

I state in my profile I don't have pics up and if they don't like it they shouldn't contact me!! But they can't be bothered to read so they just get deleted.

Don't let it bother me most of the time. After two years on here you realize less than one percent are decent guys. However, some days OMG I get so annoyed with it all!! Lmao

all those men you mentioned, they are ruining things for us genuine men too.

I have a full profile, send articulate messages and yet, I rarely get viewed after messaging.

in fact most messages go unread.

fab's problem is,,, it is free. and although originally set up for swingers has now been populated with singles. of both sexes.

and this is the fault of the larger NSA dating sites who are only interested in collecting high monthly subs from men!

at least on fab, we do not get the auto messaging.

but if the messages you are getting are from men you don't want, set filters? or, go on the hunt yourself.

I think all these sites would be far better of if only the women were allowed to instigate messaging

I certainly do look and send a msg if I like the look of someone. Trouble is its very hard to find a profile with more than "hi" or something equally as rubbish

Its not just you females- no idea why but every few weeks i seem to get a message along the lines of

"hi mate, hows things? fancy coming to mine and i'll suck you off?"

now granted my profile is a little long but the bit that says straight male is clear to see and in the same place on everybodys profile. some people are just lazy fuckwits- delete and block!

I imagine some guys just message for a laugh and are taking the piss. I think this gets lost on some people.

Im not saying thats right for them to take the piss but I doubt every message that gets sent is serious.

you get that on both sides of the fence, there are a lot of fem profiles with one line or blank even.

its no wonder they get nuisance messages.

but in you being a woman, you have a lot more choice than us men.

Certainly not. If guys don't want to show first I respect that and don't message them as they shouldn't me if that bothers them. I have a sister and cousin on here and a very dangerous stalker, none of whom I want to be able to recognize me! If they want to see pics move on to the next person who is willing to show them.

Well if I was your cousin or your sister I would recognise you from your avatar alone it's a full body shot, I can recognize my sister's in a crowd from a distance

But everyone I have met has sent me pics and articulate messages. Once my interest is sparked we chat and see if a meet is on the cards. Both veris are from guys I've known over a year and met many times and both are new profiles since the original messages anyway.

Maybe use your filters and you do the searching and it might stop some of the mail you are not looking for
