Over the rainbow, under the bridge |
I am sick of them not even attempting to deliver packages. In the past they have even posted cards for me to pick up items when my safe place was clearly printed on the package!
This morning I was upstairs and on coming down I noticed a card posted saying they couldn't deliver - they hadn't even bothered to knock or ring the doorbell which is so loud it would wake the bloody dead.
Now I have to wait 24 hours before I can go and pick it up.
Naturally I have emailed a complaint for what good it will do me.
Anyone else got the same problem with parcels? |

G and I get married soon and we sent out a load of invites... Some don't even make it. It's annoying because not only were they expensive to send, but we hand make each one, and there's a lot that goes into them! Royal Mail are useless!!!! C xx |

I have a great postman. A parcel was delivered yesterday, I wasn't home so he left it in the post office / shop at the end of my road and I went to pick it up last night about 6.30pm |

Our posties are fine but the delivery drivers around here seem to think they've perfected bloody time travel!
They'll say a package is going to be delivered between a certain time (say 12-3pm). You'll wait until 3:30pm before you have to go out and there will be no package and no card.
Come home and there will be a card saying they tried to deliver at 2:30pm! |

I had that one day. I waited in Sat next to the front window keeping an eye out and was surprised to see him heading round to next door. When I went to the door to call him he'd put a card through but left it sticking in the letterbox so it didn't rattle!
By the time I got out he was in his van and gone!
The local post office is just around the corner from me and when I git to the counter it was before the time marked on the card according to the post office systems clock!
There were complaints from me and from the post master - apparently this was an ongoing thing but it was the first time he had proof that this guy wasn't actually trying to deliver. |
