Ive always thought of panties as big bridget jones style, out of your mothers draw marks and sparks comfy pants. Then knickers are your thongs etc. Skimpy sexy nice to see. Just the word panties is a passion killer for me.
What about you lot. Do you seperate or have one word for all  |

Most people seem not to like panties. Interesting as to me it reflects something delicate and cute
I do prefer to refer to them as knickers though
Definitely not pants though. Yuk. Guys wear pants |

Knickers
Panties is an american porn word and ive never come across a woman in my life that calls them panties,unless they're using the word in a sexual way |

I only ever say panties as a joke because I saw that many movies over the years where it was always the weird old cradle snatching pervert that used the word. Knickers is also a funny word though.
Let's be honest though, is there another word for a particular set of underwear that doesn't sound funny? |

I don't use either word, I don't wear them (except in photos to accentuate my arse) so have no need of a word to describe them  |
