Alcohol consumption over time causes our heads to swell so where it looks like we're going bald, actually the hair on our brains is left with nowhere else to go but out of our ears and nostrils...

I watched the old black and white japanese film " 7 samurai" a few weeks ago, the samurai shaved the top of their heads but left the hair on the back and sides to make them appear old and wise, maybe more attractive to women in that culture?

Can't see it catching on in modern day Britain though, walking into the barbers and saying, "leave the back and sides today, just take it all off the top please!"
