No- they speak American- its like English but not as advanced as they've still not mastered the correct way to spell colour  |

my spelling is crappy enough without the words I can spell being changed to american

In some software, you do have a choice.
Nutshell answer is: American companies are making the products, for the most part, and American business interests are world wide more influential than British or the other countries that speak English. Canada uses the same English spellings as America. I hear few if any British people complain about Canadians. What spellings Australia uses I'm not aware of. |

What are you doing that's auto correcting ? My version of Word for instance autocorrects from the U.S spelling to the UK one."
on my google tablet it auto corrects from UK to american

Same here it's a pain in the backside. Cant spell for toffee use spell check it's american. Then you end up with use the spell check brigade come out cant win  |
