"Just wondered out of curiosity how many of the people who post a meet up actually get a meet from them or much interest?"
they are very effective, depends how picky you are? I am very picky so even though I want a meet and put one up, I don't always have one.

I get a lot of interest if I post that I'm going dogging, but sadly a lot is from people miles away wanting me to go dogging in Cumbria/Kent/Namibia, etc or on another night.
I seem to get better meets and more definite meets from peeps who see me posting in the forum and fancy taking a gamble on my sanity.  |

I get lots from hundreds of miles away, or want outdoor meets after midnight   |

Funny you should ask.
I'm in London in a couple of weeks and a lady friend is staying with me.
We have both put up a meet request for the same night (on purpose).
She's he'd lots of interest and I've had none.

Ive never tried it,Id ask friends first or go to a club,maybe even browse meets and events from other people
I doubt if id put one up,purely because I wouldn't want to spend all day sorting it out  |

Let me guess - they work better for us females and couples than single guys. Ive posted and had some overall good responses, but I havent all of the time held it, due to not fully getting what I wanted. It can help narrow down and filter interest better than just your profile does. But people do still ignore what they dont want to see. Worth a try and we all want and offer something different, so it is a try it and see for yourself. |

We have put two meets up so far, The first Nette said she was taking me for a Birthday drink if anybody fancied a pint n a natter which got some weird responses up to a week later,The Second was we were going to be in Glasgow which resulted in a lovely social evening with some really nice people so a mixed bag really.

Often no but sometimes it works.... Record was putting a meet up at 8.30 on a Friday night...had a worthwhile reply by 8.45 and spent a brilliant night and following morning in Worcester.....so yes. SOMETIMES they work well! |

Very true.
For me. Most of my meets have been through the chatrooms where people have got to know me, they've seen me and we clicked already as we spoke. But, the chatrooms have changed now too. Or it could be just me and what i'm looking for now has changed.

I wouldn't disagree with that they are far more effective and people can get the gist of what you are like and see you are who you are on cam. |

I would have thought men should use the facility more ?
Everyone's complaining they get no replies or no luck so add a meet and genuinely interested people will contact you if your profile attracts and you're compatible ? |
