Yes I have been there with most of u women, arrange a meet, get a tad d*unk, mostly children are out of the way for the evening and Great it is me time, to meet someone who will give me what is missing. If you have healthy self respect you surround yourself with people who also respect you and give short shrift to the rest.

If all your meets have been demoralizing and made you feel worthless and badly treated then not only do you need to step away but you also need to look at why you are selecting people who treat you that way. The one thing all those meets had in common was you.

If you are looking for the social side of swinging try clubs and socials. Get to know people, leave sex out of it for a while till you find your feet, your confidence and till you like yourself again.

Before handing out insults about others emotions and self respect, have you ever thought about how you yourself go about arranging these meets, how you put yourself out there, what your demeanour is like on a meet, how much you communicate beforehand and on the meet itself, whether or not you actually put your expectations across or what you'd like out of a meet to the person? Maybe it's the way you're behaving, what you're saying, the time you're looking for meets?...what you put in is what you get out of anything I believe, if you're only looking for meets when you're horny and want to be fucked well then that's exactly what you'll get, a horny fuck and go...do you understand what I mean? I'm not having a go at you but look at yourself, are you putting in as much as you want out of swinging? My other concern OP is your mention of alcohol. Arranging meets when under the influence is not wise, your judgement and choice can be impaired.

As a single female I don't arrange anything when I've been drinking nor do I drink when I meet. Safety has to come first. And a clear head is more likely to spot the numpties.

Then you are meeting the wrong people... I go to clubs and meet up with friends..and yes sometimes I dont even know the names of the guys I fuck... but I never feel worthless or down.. I used to... but then I changed my outlook.

I have total respect for myself..and love what I do.. I love the the social side of this lifestyle as much as anything else and even when I am not actively playing..

I can have sex for just pure sex..but its balanced now with amazing sex with people I have a connection with..

If I felt worthless I would look at why and try to address it.. you cant swing to fill a gap.. that is whether you are a single or a couple.

What nail.. As a single mum and one that intends to stay single.. As I do not need a man in my childrens life.. this lifestyle has suited me for many many years.. ( near enough 16 now)

If its not for you, and as a single women with no veries.. it really cant be..

1) NEVER EVER meet or play when you drink.. I will not play with a couple or woman that is d*unk, nor would I drink. It can make you do things you may well regret in the morning.

2) Do not assume we are all having sex for affection.. THAT NEVER WORKS... all that does is leave you feeling flat... you have to have sex for sex.. for fun, because you want it, need it and desire it.. and because its makes you feel good .

3) I am not judging you, if this lifestyle isnt for you, then thats fine.. but please do not try to tell me I have self respect issues.. i am me... I like being me.. and as long as I have a good time and dont hurt anyone.. ( unless with my paddles and they want me to) then I am happy.

4) I will carry on hooking up with people I know well.. people I havent a clue who they are.. and people I will never see again.. Sometimes I like the fact I just had a good fuck off someone that is nameless and in some cases faceless as it was too dark or I was blindfolded.

Oh and I am always careful..and this lifestyle has brought out the best in me because I have people that bring out the best in me.

Prior to swinging, I've been out clubbing, (gone back/come home) with some random girl (who's name I could not hear over the music) and crack of dawn (I/she) left without so much as a good bye, and walked into work the following Monday patting myself on the back at a "great" weekend I had.

Having found swinging, I have made a network of contacts, some playmates, some not (couples, girls, even guys that we can have laugh together), some closer than others. The key thing: we all have respect for ourselves, and each other - anyone falling foul of that I push into my mental "U" (Unreliable) file and delete their contact details. I'm too old for anyone to treat me with disrespect and get away with it. I, as a guy, do know their worth.

So, what if we "sleep around", not the worst "crime" on the planet: I have a number of awesome memories to last me when I am finally old, decrepid and happy I lived the life while I could, and grateful for all the smiles and fun with the people that have come my way.

If however the OP's opinion on the scene is one of "losing self respect" then either she has different expectations of the scene, or her selection criteria needs work: either way, only she can resolve that herself. I certainly have no complaint

I've only read a bit of this. But, my dear. You have no right to tell others on here to get some self respect. You signed up for the very same thing everyone else signed up for. Now, everyone takes a different approach on how to use the site.

You have no right to call anyone a slut. Especially, when you're doing it cynically and just being venomous.

Now, i usually wouldn't say all this. But, you need to pull your finger out, pull your socks up and look at yourself first before you judge others. Whatever's gone wrong - you need to deal with it yourself and not project it on to others.

Being on this site has given me lots of self worth and confidence. When I joined I was a woman who had recently been widowed and had undergone breast cancer surgery. Not one of the fit young men made comment upon my scars, unless to say they liked the whole package not just the fancy stitching.
