i use the chatrooms to cam and chat to.

if they are friends who i see socially then yes they can have my skype

Have you considered that people may choose not to give out personal contact info like Skype details?

It isnt.

The only thing that is 'forbidden' is posting personal contact details in the forums and that includes skype addresses. Other than that you can do what you want with it.

If you type 'skype' into the forum search and look through some of the threads youll see that 100s of people seem to use it...
