The land of grey peas and bacon

So I'm watching it as it's on as part of the commonwealth games, I like boxing but sometimes shudder at the damage that can be caused as a result of the sport....

I've just started doing a bit of boxing as part of my exercise routine. Never realised how strenuous it was!

I dislike it immensely, People constantly bemoan the money that Footballers earn but Professional Boxing is one of the most Corrupt Sports out there.

Between cricketers being involved in scandals, doping in cycling, football betting syndicates and boxers taking dives, I keep a very keen eye on who gives who Werther's Originals amongst the OAP's down the local bowling green.

Nicola Adams won gold today.

She's a champion, a great achiever, a role model, etc, but I wouldn't sleep with her!

I wonder how many men would want to sleep with her, on purely phsyical grounds, not on the grounds that she's a champion, an MBE, rich, famous, etc.

Just wondering, not taking anything away from her great achievements

Boxing and Snooker should be taught in all schools..Bullying would probably be cut down, also kids would have more concentration skills and respect..

Most bullying is a caused because someone is weak or different, and maybe, just maybe if some times the person who gets bullied may take to boxing,so then they would not get bullied....Also snooker is good for fitness and concentration...

One thing id say tho as a ex boxer it depends on the individual.

Kids use street fighting not boxing. Boxing can be a leathal sport. And your fists then become a weapon depending on how you get on train tge deadly the more you progress.

Ask you self this if school taught boxing to a child as a parent when kids become the want to be i am type ask your self as a parent if a child gave your child a deadly punch who would be to blame the child or school.

That is a good argument, but people have died from getting slapped or pushed in the past...up until the 80s nearly most kids got taught 2 fight,i would rather kids punching each other then stabbing or shooting..Bring back fighting with fist, not weapons

Well unless you know her and she has asked you to fuck her. I am sure she will get over it

Having taken part in my training camp for 7 weeks, I have learnt so much. It's an art form as well as a sport.

Thankfully in my short time in the ring on fight night, not too much will go wrong. But there is that danger.

The gloves do help make it safer, as you get hit by a smooth surface, and you have to hit properly. Being hit without the gloves would be worse.

There is a lit of conditioning that goes on, that prepares your body. It would be a lot more dangerous without this.

I love boxing it is very dangerous and people sometimes get hurt but that makes it exciting. The boxers all know the risks and prepare accordingly.
