Have you ever approached a guy first and initiated chat - or do you always wait for them to come to you??
I don't consider myself to be a complete Troll, and get my fair share of action, but it's always me that kicks off.
Are we still old fashioned in that respect here?
And guys - if you have been approached, how did you feel about it?? |

I never approach first, purely due to the crap profiles a lot of men up here have, why would I want to contact someone with a 2 line profile that doesn't say anything apart from here for fun and a cock shot?
Nothing to entice me, is there?  |

I don't think there's much difference personality or confidence wise between women who initiate contact with males and those who don't.
Simply ... some women make the first more and some don't. I wish more would!  |

Yes, several times.. some I've met, some have knocked me back...
In fact one guy who I've been meeting fairly regularly for over a year I mailed initially.
A well written profile that matches my pteferences with good photos will often get an initial mail from me if I spot it  |

So - there seems to be a fairly simple lesson here to all the guys - try putting some thought into your profile, and if you're lucky, you might be approached for a change!
Now, where's my thinking cap. I need to change my profile.... |

Single male wise its always better to approach the ones seen as most suitable. We have no problem with rejection and so its the quickest way to find the type we like. |

I find I have so little time, by the time Ive read the forums, there is barely any left to reply to new mail, let alone find a prospective sex mate. I would and have done, but the quality of profiles is a bit on the low side. |

I always contact guys...I take my time! I'd rather do the approaching...you see, I like being in control. Of course it does not always mean I am that person's cup of tea and vice versa but that's life

I have no issues with initiating contact with men if I like the look of them
Sometimes its far easier to find what you want rather than wait for it to come to you |

I always go looking. 95% of the time I have no profile and it pisses me off that people are so desperate that they will still mail someone with no pics and no text.
I like getting turned down sometimes because it proves that I chat to people with a bit of self respect... not just those people that will chat to anyone. |

I've made first contact on here loads of times and also made the first move in clubs too.
Some men have been a bit surprised by it but if I see a guy I like the look of I'm not going to sit back and wait for him, strong independent women go out and get what they want lol  |
