Hot water bottle. Put it in your bed to warm it up before you get in it, even if it's been sunny etc it gets really cold at night.

Enjoy yourself and if your tent is big enough then an air bed is gorgeous to sleep on.. And enjoy snuggling up... Shared bossily warmth and all that.. Mmmmm! Want to go camping again soon now...

Remember the the loos/showers are a walk away. So your toiletries in a sponge bag that's easy to carry and some easy to slip on/off footwear to stick your feet in if you need the loo in the night. And a big coat too, just in case.

I like a head torch so your hands are free and whichever way you look you have light.

If you're prone to getting cold then take a pair of thick socks for bed socks. And even if you normally sleep naked don't forget your pjs

Have a lovely time and if you gat chance...wet wipes they are life savers for when you are preparing food and cooking and take some bin liners for your rubbish.

If you get the chance invest in a footprint too saves the tent and if you bigger you have extra cover if you have a canopy .

Take some bin bags to line your bags so your gear stays dry when it rains, have a sense on humour.
